MBK | My Brother's Keeper

In 2020, MBK-Memphis accepted the Community Challenge from the Obama Foundation’s MBK Alliance, to improve the lives of boys and young men of color (BYMOC) in the Greater Memphis, TN. area. As a result, MBK-Memphis is firmly committed to creating community partnerships across government, academia, the private and public sectors, clergy, families, and communities.

» Our Program Focus

With an emphasis on boys from 5th grade to 12th grade, MBK-Memphis will continue working to address persistent opportunity gaps for BYMOC.

MBK-Memphis will focus on the following four Key milestones for our participants:

1. Graduating from high school ready for college and career
2. Completing post-secondary education or training
3. Successfully entering the workforce
4. Reducing school bullying and violence
